Description

Banana Bread Baked Oats are the perfect blend of sweet banana flavor and wholesome oats, baked into a soft and comforting breakfast treat. Great for meal prep or cozy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender, combine oats, bananas, egg, milk, maple syrup, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips or banana slices on top if using.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set and edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best sweetness and texture.
  • Add chopped nuts, dried fruit, or nut butter for variation.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze slices for quick breakfasts.
