Description

Juicy baked chicken coated in a glossy balsamic and honey glaze, tender inside with rich sweet and tangy flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts (about 680 g)
  • 120 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the chicken breasts evenly inside.
  4. Pour the balsamic mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, basting the chicken with the sauce halfway through cooking.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Spoon extra glaze from the baking dish over the chicken and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra sauce, double the glaze ingredients.
  • Let the chicken rest after baking to keep it juicy.
  • Leftovers taste even better the next day.
