Description

Bailey’s Irish Cream Brownies are rich, fudgy chocolate brownies infused with the smooth, creamy flavor of Bailey’s Irish Cream. Perfect for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to a decadent dessert with a boozy twist.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • For the frosting (optional):
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Add Bailey’s Irish Cream and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Stir in nuts if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  8. For the frosting, beat butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and Bailey’s. Beat until smooth and spreadable.
  9. Spread frosting over cooled brownies and chill for 10 minutes before slicing.
