Description

Anna Paul’s Viral Turkish Pasta is a flavorful and comforting dish featuring tender pasta topped with spiced beef, paprika butter, and a creamy garlic Greek yogurt sauce. Garnished with fresh cherry tomatoes, parsley, and crumbled feta, it’s a crowd-pleasing recipe full of vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Garlic Greek Yogurt Topping:
    • 2 cups Greek yogurt
    • 4 garlic cloves, grated
    • Juice from ½ lemon
    • Salt to taste
  • Spiced Beef:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 yellow onion, diced
    • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon cumin
    • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika Butter:
    • ¼ cup butter
    • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Toppings:
    • Cherry tomatoes, halved
    • Fresh parsley, chopped
    • Feta cheese, crumbled
    • 12 oz cooked pasta (fusilli or penne)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the garlic Greek yogurt topping by mixing Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced onion until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in sweet paprika, garlic powder, cumin, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until fragrant and fully combined.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in sweet paprika to make paprika butter. Set aside.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente and drain.
  6. Assemble the dish by placing pasta on a serving plate, topping with spiced beef, drizzling paprika butter over, and spooning garlic Greek yogurt on top.
  7. Garnish with halved cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley, and crumbled feta cheese.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt for a creamy, tangy topping; full-fat yogurt works best.
  • Adjust spices according to taste for desired heat and flavor.
  • Fusilli or penne work best to hold the toppings, but any pasta shape can be used.
  • Prepare yogurt topping ahead of time for convenience.
