Description
Golden, fluffy dough balls filled with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and taco flavor, crisped to perfection in the air fryer for the ultimate bite-sized treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and 2 tablespoons of water to the beef mixture. Simmer for a couple of minutes. Stir in shredded cheese, then remove from heat.
- Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray or line with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly and place a spoonful of filling in the center. Pinch edges to seal and shape into a ball.
- Place seam-side down in the air fryer basket, spaced apart. Brush tops with olive oil.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let rest for 2 minutes, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overstuff the dough to avoid leakage during cooking.
- Use parchment or nonstick spray to prevent sticking in the air fryer.
- Let taco bombs cool slightly before eating, as filling will be hot.
