Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound salmon fillets, skinless and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, olive oil, and cornstarch. Add the salmon cubes and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 15–20 minutes.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the marinated salmon bites in a single layer in the basket, spacing them apart.
- Air fry for 7 to 9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Optional: Simmer remaining marinade in a small pan until thickened. Drizzle over cooked salmon.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving warm.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer — work in batches if needed.
- Fresh garlic and ginger make a big difference in flavor.
- Use a food thermometer to ensure salmon reaches 145°F internally.
